How do I setup UPS for Real-Time Shipping?
Your store can be integrated with the main shipping carriers in order to provide your customers with real-time shipping calculations for their orders. This guide will show you how to set up your account registrations with UPS and then integrate your credentials to your Power-eCommerce store.
Register with UPS
To register your UPS account, please follow these steps:
- Go to the UPS home page.
- On the page, click the button labeled "Open Your Account"
- Complete your Registration Process as prompted on the UPS pages
Once you have registered your new UPS account you will have a UPS Account number.
This information will be entered into your Power-eCommerce Admin to complete the registration process.
Adding your UPS credentials to your Power-eCommerce:
Once you have registered your UPS account and have received an Account Number, proceed with the following steps to complete your UPS registration process.
- Log into your Power-eCommerce Admin
- Go to Settings -> Shipping -> UPS
- Select to make UPS Active
- Enter all your UPS Credentials : UPS Access License Number.
- Enter all your UPS Credentials : UPS Shipper#.
- Enter all your UPS Credentials : UPS UserID.
- Enter all your UPS Credentials : UPS Password.
- Select your UPS Pickup Type.
- Enter Free Shipping (0=no free shipping) . If you would like to offer free shipping when a shopping cart total is over a given number this is where you set that value.
- (a) If Cart is under this then use shipping rate below: (b): Leave at "0" if you do not want to use this option, this option is designed to set a fixed shipping rate for items under a given dollar amount.*
- (b) Rate for above option: (a) : The is the shipping rate that will be charged if the above criteria is meet.*
- Click "Save Changes"
Important Note
When filling out the Registration Form on your Power-eCommerce Admin be sure to enter the information exactly as it appears in your UPS account.
