We've added three new options to your Pricing Rules settings to help keep your storefront
accurate and your prices looking polished. All three are off by default —
nothing about your store changes unless you turn them on.
1. Calculate Cost
If 'Default Vendor' selected but there is not a Default Vendor Lowest Cost will be used. The default vendor is ONLY set at the product level not the same as "Default Vendor Position".
2. Automated Selling Price Update
Select whether you need to only use Pricing Rules to run when you want or not at all. The other option is to run the rules every time your product costs are updated from your vendor(s).
3. Hide Products With No Vendor or Zero Inventory/Cost
When a product has no vendor at all, or every vendor offering it is out of stock or has no cost on file,
this option automatically removes it from your storefront instead of leaving stale or incorrect pricing
visible to shoppers.
4. Automatically Un-Hide Restocked Products
The moment a hidden product has a vendor with valid inventory and cost again, it's automatically made
visible on your storefront — no manual re-checking required.
5. Round Your Selling Prices
Give your prices a consistent, polished look by rounding them up or down to a cents value you choose
— for example, rounding every price up to end in .99 (like $19.99) or down to a
clean whole dollar (like $20.00).
Good to know: these settings are entirely optional and can be turned off again at any
time. If a large part of your catalog relies on vendors that don't report inventory counts, the "Hide"
option can affect a lot of products at once — we're happy to walk through it with you before you
turn it on.
